Experienced, professional, and approachable.

Motivated by learning to sail in land-locked Wisconsin (United States), Robert decided to take a Caribbean holiday which resulted in his first yacht job offer. Moreover, he has never looked back!

With over 32 years of experience in yachting, Robert has gained extensive knowledge of cruising the Mediterranean, including Spain, Italy, France, Croatia, and Greece.

Between Harmony I and Harmony III, Robert has been a Captain for Harmony Charters for 22 years. He was involved in the construction of the Harmony III and has been the only Captain on board since the yacht was launched.

Robert holds a Commercial US 1600 GT Masters ticket and Y2 MCA Engineer’s Certificate.

A natural leader, he ensures that the crew works together and provides you with a unique and memorable stay on board.

Robert is relaxed and approachable and enjoys restoring classic motorcycles and 4×4 off-road driving in his spare time.

Matteo is a fully qualified Commercial Class 1 Chief Engineer Unlimited with over 11 years of experience. Raised in a town called Varese in the north of Italy. He has worked on many large cruise vessels and warships. He enjoys many sporting activities in his spare time and is passionate about kite surfing, road bikes, kayaking, and horse riding. 

Francesco is a skilled first officer with over 10 years of experience on passenger ships. About 4 years ago he decided to challenge himself by exploring the yachting industry. He is 38 years old and grew up in Genova, where his beautiful family is currently based.
Francesco is a high achiever, and he is planning to become a Yacht Captain in the near future. He has an active lifestyle and loves working out and all the waters sport. He has a great way of welcoming new guests and making them feel at home.

Ilario Manna is a 33-year-old Italian chef with a passion for cooking that began at 15. After honing his skills in London’s top multi-starred restaurants, Ilario returned to his hometown at 26 to lead the kitchen of a famous 4-star superior hotel, gaining international recognition. Four years ago, a Swiss family offered Ilario the opportunity to work in private boats, where he now has access to the finest ingredients and equipment to create culinary masterpieces. Ilario’s love for his job is unwavering, and he plans to continue cooking until retirement.

Federica is a highly experienced Chief Stewardess from Italy with an extended background in the luxury yacht industry. Federica is approachable and a great communicator with an attentive eye for detail.

She looks forward to welcoming you onboard and ensuring you have a once-in-a-lifetime experience on Harmony III. 

Corneliu is originally from Moldovia and has been a resident of Portugal since 2001. An avid sailor, Nelo started his career club racing and delivering yachts in Portugal and Spain.

He started working professionally in 2014. Nelo has worked in both the Mediterranean and the Caribbean. He has two Atlantic crossings under sail.

Nelo is fluent in 5 languages.

2023 will be Nelo’s third season on-bord HARMONY III.

Shyra was born in Baguio City and had been living in Italy since 2018. She has been working in the yachting industry for several years. This is her second season on HARMONY III. She speaks excellent English and Italian, as well as Tagalog.

Shyra has a very happy and calm personality and is an outstanding team player.

Shyra likes to follow a healthy lifestyle. She enjoys reading, dancing, badminton, and volleyball.

Marvin was born in Luzon, a gorgeous area at the northern end of the Philippines. In 2014 he moved to Italy with his wife and their children.
In 2018 he joined the Harmony III team assisting with the maintenance of the yacht during the winter months.
Marvin is very passionate about his job, diligent, and hardworking. He has completed the STCW course for seafarers, and for the 2022 season, he is officially a member of our crew!

Nela is easy-going, self-motivated, and adaptable in any new situation. Nela likes outdoor activities and creating new fun memories with other people. As much as Nela enjoys the outdoors, she spends most of her time staying at home reading books, cooking, and singing. Nela loves traveling and learning cultures of people around her. Making people happy drives her to do better.
